In order for Charities to obtain Microsoft Azure for Non‐profits they need to go on to this link https://www.microsoft.com/en‐us/philanthropies/product‐donations/products/azure
Scroll down to the bottom of the page and then click on “Get Started”.
After clicking on the link, you are redirected to: https://www.microsoft.com/en‐us/philanthropies/product‐donations/apply‐now
On section 2, Click “Register with TechSoup”
You are then redirected to Techsoup’s website, select your region in this case United Kingdom and then click Enter.
This will be redirected to Microsoft’s partner in your region.
You are then presented with anther webpage.
If you are not registered with tt‐exchange you will need to click on “New to tt‐exchange”. Otherwise click “Already a member”.
Login with your tt‐exchange details.
After signing in with tt‐exchange account, you need to confirm your charity organisation’s details and tick “I Agree”.
Then click on “View validation tokens”.
If your charity organisation is eligible for Microsoft Office 365 for Non‐profits/ sponsorship. You are presented with the token, the token will be in the format of ******@********* Copy this token, if you leave this page you will not get the token back.
Entering TechSoup Validation Token
If you have a TechSoup Validation token you can click on this link http://eligibilityweb.azurewebsites.net/#/ngohome
Paste the validation token and click “validate token”.
Confirm your charity organisation’s details and then click “Yes, this is correct. Continue to check my eligibility.”
You are then presented with your charity organisation’s details again with a “Congratulations” message.
Scroll down to Azure and click on it.
Enter your charity organisation’s email address, if you want the email to be CC’d in enter that on “Company CC list” field.
Note: The Microsoft Azure Non‐Profit/Sponsorship subscription link will be sent to these email addresses. Please ensure you have access to these mailboxes!
Click “Submit your registration.”
You are then displayed a registration confirmation and an email will be sent out to your registration email address as well as the CC’d one.
Microsoft Azure for Non‐Profits confirmation
A validation email will be sent to the email address you have registered with.
The email will be sent from Microsoft within 24 hours confirming your eligibility for Microsoft Azure.
Adding Microsoft Azure for Non‐Profits/sponsorship to your charity’s existing Office 365 tenant
If you already have an Office 365 tenant for your charity and want to add Microsoft Azure for Non‐ Profits to this, ensure you are logged into Office 365 as an administrator on your default web browser and then click on step 3 link. See screenshot below

If you don’t have an Office 365 tenant / Azure just follow step 1 to 4
Confirming Microsoft Azure for Non‐profits subscription in your Azure tenant in Office 365.
Login to your Office 365 tenant as an administrator Click Admin
On the left pane, expand Admin Centres
Click on Azure AD
In Microsoft Azure portal, click on Subscription on the top. Then click on Manage your account.
This will bring you to a webpage of your available subscriptions. Click on “Microsoft Azure Sponsorship” to show more information.
Click See remaining credits
After clicking on See remaining credit, this will display the sponsorship credits in details.
